This weeks challenge was.... With Mardi Cras in a few days we thought it would be fun to have a gallery full of Clean And Simple Party cards with ribbon. Here is the card I made.
All items minus the Tim Holtz distress ink, memento black ink and Hero Arts CL351 were all scraps, so i don't really remember what company they are from.
Hope you enjoyed :) see you all next week :)

CFC #38
It's Tuesday.... which means time for CAS-ual Fridays Challenge :)
When I first read about the new challenge I was really excited. I mean the winner gets to be a guest designer... (insert squeak).... but then I started thinking about the challenge a little bit more and.... NOTHING. My mind was blank! how was i going to make a Clean and simple movie inspiration card? And what movie?
So after thinking about this ALL weekend and yesterday, I woke up this morning with this in my head.
The movie I picked was Mulan. There is just something about the scenery in this movie that is so inspiring to me. Here's the recipe for this card... Recollections: kraft cardstock Tim Holtz: Walnut Stain, Worn Lipstick, Spun Sugar & Antique Linen The "white" paper is from a marker paper pack found at Traget in the kids arts & crafts section. I also used Studio G clear stamps and Hampton Art SC0199 stamp set.
Hope you like it and have a wonderful day....
..........oh.......... p.s. Tim Holtz has Distress Ink Markers coming out in late February :) can't wait :)

Cas-ual Friday Challenge #26
So I was roaming around Flickr and I noticed some cards that I just LOVED! So I went to her website... Neat and Tangled and just LOVED everything on her blog! While roaming there I came across some cards that she had submitted to Cas-ual Fridays. I of course went there to find a blog that does weekly challenges!!! I just love that all submissions must be simple :) my favorite :)
This weeks challenge is this sketch....
This weeks challenge is this sketch....

I found this on Saturday. On Sunday I found out that my sister-in-law had to put her dog of 15+ years down due to cancer and my husband and I were just heartbroken! I needed to make a card and could not think of anything. While thinking of how much I miss Beanie (sister-in-law's dog) i found my notes on this challenge.. and.... thought to my self... why not. So here is the card I created....
Products used:
Black cardstock: Recollections (Michael's)
Letter Stamps: Hero Arts
Ribbon: $1.00 ribbon from Michael's
Paw print stamp: Recollections (Michael's)
Hope you have enjoyed this card and now its time for me to craft some more for
"Holiday Gift Tags & Wrap"
Happy November 1st :) :) :) :)
